Come to Where I'm From

Episode #16: Rosanna Arquette

Episode Summary

Rosanna Arquette Is simply a magical being. And she opened up her magical world to us today. What an absolute honor to sit with her and hold space this way and in this context. Podcasting is like therapy. There is something that happens when cameras are rolling and mics are recording. Another spirit enters. Maybe it’s the dimension of eternity. We opened up the podcast about intense subjects. The way society is captured into shame induced comas through the weaponry of porn and that lead into her involvement with the “me too” movement and the evolving dynamics between women and men. And then we went absolutely everywhere else. Of course I asked her about one of my favorite movies ‘After Hours’ and how she used astrology to build characters. It was an amazing conversation. She is a light worker and she brought the light. Sitting in front of an infinite mirror with train tracks going all the way to oblivion. That’s where we took it for 2 plus hours until we just started singing songs. Just like we did in the movie we were in together way back in the day called ‘Hells Kitchen’ Old friends shooting the breeze on a train made of film and zeroes and ones. The west coast has been an explosion for the podcast. We’ve found our stride. You’ll have to wait for this one. But it’s one worth waiting for. Thank you Rosanna! No wonder everybody writes songs about you. #love #podcast #cometowhereimfrom #rosannaarquette #josepharthur
